Martin Markiewicz
Co-founder and CEO
Martin Markiewicz is the co-founder and CEO of Silent Eight, a company that develops artificial intelligence-powered solutions to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. Based in Singapore, Martin drives the vision and innovation behind the company’s efforts to fight financial crime. Silent Eight’s solutions are widely utilized by leading banks for AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CFT (Counter-Terrorism Financing) purposes. Martin Markiewicz has over 16 years of experience in software and artificial intelligence solutions across diverse applications. With a strong educational foundation in mathematics and a passion for entrepreneurship, he has built several successful startups in Europe and Asia, including one that culminated in a successful IPO. In 2001, Martin launched his first startup, konsultant.it, providing software and hardware development solutions for SMEs. He later joined Wola Info, a leading European IT company, as a strategic sales director. Subsequently, he founded SevenFlow Investments, a multidisciplinary engineering company recognized for landmark projects. SevenFlow Investments ultimately became part of a highly successful IPO. Martin is passionate about modern technology and computer gaming and is committed to living a green lifestyle that respects the planet and its inhabitants.

Michael is a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Silent Eight. He oversees the company’s research and development as well as its delivery operations, ensuring the advancement and implementation of its cutting-edge solutions. Michael brings 23 years of professional experience in software development and artificial intelligence. He holds a degree in IT, Telecommunications, and Cryptography. He began his career as a software engineer at Wola Info, a leading European IT vendor, where he quickly rose to become the director of software development.

Julia Markiewicz is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Silent Eight, a company specializing in artificial intelligence-powered solutions to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. Based in Singapore, her management style has been a key driver of Silent Eight’s substantial investment in research and development, as well as its simultaneous focus on expanding its team and global presence. Julia Markiewicz holds a Master’s degree in Social Policy and is passionate about innovation, with a strong drive to empower every team member to reach their full potential. She has a proven track record in entrepreneurship, including founding Fabryka Kadr, a leading European provider of human resources services that introduced numerous innovative concepts to the market. Fluent in Chinese, English, Polish, and Russian, Julia is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring new places and cultures.
